Course status / Road construction

Course status / Road construction

Postby ghstinshll » Sat Nov 17, 2012 10:00 pm

Hey guys, I tried looking back a bit on Ewing's forums & didn't see an official thread.

What is the final word about Ewing during, and post construction next year?

Will baskets simply get pulled?

Will there actually be a course redesign?

I had some questions about it last week - I answered based on what I thought I read here, but wasn't totally sure.

Thanks!

Indianola Avenue is now open from 14th st. Talk to a few of the city guys earlier this week and they had no idea when the road construction was going to start for the next phase.

Chains are indeed cut on two. #4 and #8(?). Just the chains and bottom connecting ring. The S-hooks were cut. Baskets themselves and hangers are untouched thankfully. Looks like it got done with bolt-cutters.

//as a side note, some chuckers were out leaving a trail of trash to pick up

///any upcoming clean up days for branches / downed manageable sized trees? I would be happy to join in

No idea on who was dropping heavy, and not calling anyone out. Just an irritating amount of fresh litter.

There are not any work days scheduled, we have to let the courses dry out before we can get vehicles out there. What you can do at this point is just start pilling up the stick/branches into 1 or 2 spots on each hole so that when we can get out there its a little easier and faster. Any and all help is appreciated.

Someone cut the chains on #5 basket. Got this pic sent to me from Jamalle a couple minutes ago.
