2012 Iowa Tour

First of all I just wanted to say thanks for all of the support from the past the present and the new td's on board. I also wanted to thank all of the players that continually support the tour.

Here's a little info I wanted to share from EDGE.

The Educational Disc Golf Experience would like to thank you for your involvement with the 2011 EDGE Tournament Charity Program. We are very proud to announce that with your involvement we have broken all previous marks in the areas of number of events, total amount raised and total amount granted! Below are some of the stats and highlights. Please share these numbers and stories with the folks that attend and support your events and the EDGE program. It is important that we keep the players informed of all of the great work we are doing. Some areas are currently stronger than others and it is mostly due to those areas being involved with the program longer. If you aren't seeing grants being given in your area know we are working hard to make the right connections. We always appreciate any leads in your area of schools or youth programs that have folks that play disc golf or desire to get disc golf added to their activity base.

We can't thank our corporate partners from last year enough. KEEN footwear, Innova Champion Discs and Maui Jim Sunglasses came through in a big way last year.

It has been a real pleasure working with you all and we hope you enjoy seeing this program grow and produce solid results as much as we have. We are all making a difference and the sport is growing right before our eyes.

I was assuming that they would be seperate, but I guess I am not sure what Jay was thinking.

I saw the number 1 tag last night at Bushwhackers. No one has really challenged me for 22 yet. Where are all the tags at?

I hardly see anyone with an Iowa tour tag anywhere.

Only 50 or so out there. We have a plan to mix it up a bit next year though and draw some more interest.
