Anyone can play, but you gotta be a PDGA member.

I hate missing this one in practically my backyard, but I'll likely be doing an accounting internship in Denver next summer. An August date perhaps I could have made, but not early July. Oh, well, I wish them well. I wonder what other courses they are going to use? Jones East, Jones West, Peter Pan, The Country Club (for a week? will the members allow that in July?). Melvern and Pomona Lake would maybe be close enough. The middle school course? It'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

Dye Detert and Karstens going...already got our account set up to ebay the crap out of some stuff so we can hopefully pay for this with a startup fund. In like Flynn!

Is detert going to be allowed to play in the AM worlds? Has he accepted cash?

He hasn't accepted sanctioned cash yet. That doesn't mean he won't. Pretty sure as long as you don't take money 2 year in a row you r OK

once you accept cash in a sanctioned tournament you are a pro

In any other sport, once you accept cash in ANY event you are pro.

In this case, it just depends on whether or not you can live with yourself when you lie to play at a lower level.
