I bought my star roadrunner from Chase last week (I guess he just likes selling these things) and with a little advice from him and Mike, I added about 50 feet to my drives almost instantly. I am VERY impressed with this disc, and agree that everyone should have one in their bag.

I'm not a fan of the roadrunner as a driver - though I've seen what Jeremy Baker can do w/ his. He's $$$ w that driver, but for me I'm not a huge fan as a driver.

Anybody seen one of these Taiwan CFR?

Looks like a cool roller, but I like them really flat, no dome.

Also any comment on the sparkle stuff? Does it seem to affect the flight? Course most of that is in our heads anyway I guess.

Don't know if a sparkly disc rolling 10 yards past your air shot would be intimidating but it might make you feel like you just got outdriven by a 12 year old girl.

I tried those. They don't seem to stay on edge as long, more squirrelly. As someone stated, it doesn't seem to work as well with a deep lip. I did not try the archon, but I wonder if that would have the same problem.

Wraiths make great rollers so I would think the Archon would be similar, no? Aren't they nearly the same?

Archon is pretty similar to a Roadrunner, as far as stability. It has pretty much the same lip as the Vulcan, so if you were not having luck rolling that, I wouldnt try the archon. The Wraith, IMO, is far more stable (new) then the archon, and the Vulcan is less stable than the archon. Just what Ive noticed with the ones I have tried. The Vulcan goes much, much farther then the Archon, but its a little harder to control. I have been amazed by that disc (Vulcan) in how far Ive gotten it to go. You all know I dont throw far, but its added 50ft to my drive, until I lost all the ones I had

Actually its 300, richard

Seriously tho, if you throw hyzer flips, or enjoy throwing understable plastic, get a Vulcan. Somebody who throws like MDR prolly wont have much luck, unless they throw it a mile in the air

ahhhh, Daniel son, this is where you are incorrect. MDR is one of the best understable disc throwers in the land.

Maybe he can...never really saw him crush Nuke SS', or Vulcans, ect before. He is usually cranking out shit like Predators on lazer lines, stuff that goes a whopping 250 ft straight left for me.
