Brad Ellis surprised me with a website last fall and I spent much of the winter and spring adding content in honor of the volunteers and their accomplishments.

It's been a long road with the storm of 2008 hitting the reset button, but through dogged perseverance we've recovered and the course is looking better than ever! Gene Mattecheck recently purchased a walk behind weed trimmer and has been manicuring the course as if it's his own lawn.

Please take a moment to browse through the course pages and enjoy some of our accomplishments. We've also added a section for future projects, so that you can share in the vision of what we affectionately call "The Other Side"

Thank you!

I have a name that hole contest going for anyone that has played Camden Two.

It's the most current post on the home page, so check it out and be the first to guess right - win an Innova Star Disc!

Dakota is the big winner.

I also posted an old photo of hole 12 from the original walk through in 2007. Also some photos of Evan in the Work Photos - climbing trees on hole 16 (after the course was in - amazing how clean it felt and it's a stark contrast to it's current state).

If you've played Camden Two and would like to submit a course review - I've created a 'Course Reviews' page, just post your comment. And if anyone requests it I'll post 'Curse Records if someone would like to post their personal worst round or personal bests (I shot a 65 on the par 59 Black Hawk Layout).

Will have big fire on 17 tonight. Chainsaws, waste oil and beer. All welcome to join in the fun. Did I mention sick humor?

We received a very flattering course review from 2000 Masters World Champion - Jim Myers.

Check it and other course reviews out at the following link:

Seeing reviews like that from people "in the know" makes the work worth it.

I think these pictures from 2008 make it worth it...

It's easy to forget how far we've come, even for someone like myself that's been immersed in the course. Going through the slide show at QuadCityDisc Golf.com will surprise you! Thanks Joe!

Gene these pictures are what I mean by "there didn't used to be grass" or this was nasty right here.

Check out hole 5's green OMG!!!

Hurry up and view these, as I'll be making a request of Joe to update it soon (sorry Joe, thanks in advance - I know you'd want to now that they mowed recently).

I put up a review and I hope I didn't mess it up. I love the course (obviously) but I didn't want to sound too biased. Chris, I hope I did the course justice.

Your review was great, it's on the main review page as a permanent post - not a comment anymore.

Honest reviews are what we're looking for.
