How does everyone feel about Alabama versus LSU for the national title?
Does anyone feel it should have been another team besides Alabama or are you good with it?
You can only be offended if you want to be.

The BCS is an absolute joke. We'll never know if Okl St. should have been there or not. What we do know is we'll have an easy job falling asleep watching another 10-6 title game.

no they wont but they lost to a pesky game Iowa State team, that being said I thought they had more quality wins then Alabama and Nick Satan. Heard this on DP show if it was Oklahoma would have they made it with the record of Okie state? Gundy is the shit!!

this isn't even close or have an argument - the SEC easily the best league in the country and Alabama's only loss was to the most dominant team in the country that they pushed to OT w/out giving up a TD.

Oklahoma state has zero argument for 2 main reasons - losing to Iowa State killed any hopes and they have the 107th worst defense out of what 212 teams in Div I ? It's not even an argument - btw I am a Big 10 guy :o

I am not going to dispute the Alabama-LSU matchup, it is arguably the correct matchup of two top teams. It'll be boring and I won't watch it, not a fan of watching two garbage offenses get shut down over and over by great defenses.

But don't kid yourself about the strength of the conf as a whole, SEC is top-heavy, has a bunch of weak sisters at the bottom. Also most SEC teams have artificially inflated ratings due to pre-season bias, and they trump up their records by feasting on non-conf paycheck teams, and they rarely leave the Southeast for any kind of real non-conf challenge game. Georgia backed out of their home-and-home with Oregon. That Is Weak.

GDL beat me to it .....

Although I do agree especially later in the year that warm weather schools dont play as good in freezing cold or colder conditions.....part of the reason you wont get good kids in the BIG 10 as much ;D

Yeah exactly like that!

Since 1990, the SEC record against the Pac-10 is 10-9 -- Really? Only 19 games by SEC teams against the Pac-10 in over 20 yrs. Wow! WTF! And if half those are home, that means most SEC teams have traveled to the west coast about...umm...never. That Is Weak. No wonder Georgia wimped out of their home-and-home with Oregon.

At least SEC teams will have to travel once in awhile now, to feast on Missouri.

I know that we are only one week into the college football season, but how are you feeling about your team of choice? I for one think that it will be another mediocre year for the huskers. The offense will put up solid numbers against non-ranked opponents(hopefully) and get whooped by anybody in the top 25. The defense is going to suck ass all season and allow some large numbers to be put up. My bet is a 7-5 season this year...at best.
