I have a feeling we'll be finding a few discs on #17 as we are making small starter piles in the middle and then, once burning, feeding them with branches we pull down from the big piles on either side of the fairway. Discs should be popping up as we disassemble those piles.

15 is ready to burn. 16 looks good on the right. 17 has 1 burn done and a few to go. I plan to do the top side between 16 pins and 17 fairway tomorrow morning.

Wow you guys did some AX MEN type shit on that course  I cant imagine how many man hours went into what you guys did. I would look at the cut up fire wood on the side of the fairways and just think to myself damn that took a while. I guess nobody will be without fire this weekend :D That was fun today wish I could have chatted with you fellas to hear about the progress but I get the picture. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks for everything you guys do and did. We had a blast today only because of the effort from The Wildcat crew. Hope to see you this weekend!!!!

Thanks Tye! The course is coming around, it's not perfect by our standards but we're pretty happy with the progress. One week until the WBO and we're trying to get as much stuff done as possible. I finally got to extending 9A pad by a couple blocks yesterday and re-did 18 pad this morning before we played at 9:00. We've been burning on days when the wind is low, 17 is looking cleaned up but it's so bare! I still just look at how open it is now and shake my head. Then I envision a nice open grassy fairway in a couple years and have great things to look forward to. I think there should be some 2's there during the tourney maybe.

18 still needs some cleanup, we never got back to the C pin, but I think Steve said he was going to work on that this week. The rows of pines are still there it's just that there aren't as many tops to the trees, a lot were snapped off. It allows for more sunlight to get through but the difficulty of throwing down the "aisles" is still there.

You coming over this weekend sonny?

Registration is from 7:00 to 8:30 so you should be good. We're honored to have Keith Stone in the house! Things ought to run very smooth now.

5 or 6 trees downed during the storm on Saturday afternoon, nothing we can't handle and really kind of insulting.

I plan to get them friday if my pain goes away. Might have to go see a ciro instead. Feels like I popped a rib in my upper back.

It was slightly scary playing out there Monday early morning. Lots of hanging trees. The paths seem mostly clear and nothing you can't work around. Although if I'm going to die from a freak limb falling on me can't think of a better course...
