Pray for Matt Wieben

Postby robizm » Tue Sep 27, 2011 4:28 pm

My wife works with Matt's wife and she informed me that Matt is going through a health scare.

He had a few seizures and they discovered a mass on his brain, he is in the ICU @ St. Lukes and they are looking at some surgery options. I asked my wife if I should call Matt's wife before posting, but she already posted something on her Facebook about this (Matt's wife that is).

I think it would be cool to host a tourney to raise some funds for medical costs that they will be incurring. Or some ideas you guys have done with situations in the past with things like these. Another idea would be donating ace funds, dunno....

Not many of you know me, I played alot in the past, but Matt was one of the guys I enjoyed playing with back in the day, and I know most everyone here knows him ! Good guy

Feel free to move this post if it should be somewhere better on the message boards...

If I had a say all the Whack-off money from the Whack-off in a couple weeks should be donated to Wieben.
Or we could just double entry fee and give Wieben half.
Good luck thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, I hope to see on the courses soon.

Agreed,

Praying for a successful operation and recovery. This has nothing to do with DG and everything to do with what actually means something in life. Get well my friend

*Update - his surgery is scheduled for this Thursday and they will get a better idea of his situation then, also making sure it is not cancerous

Just saw Matt at St Lukes. Not much to report. They don't have much planned for him tomorrow but they are looking at surgery on Thursday and will know more after that. Doctor seemed to think they can get at it and remove it all. Don't know what it is at this point. He was not happy being in the hospital. He is in room 541 currently but I don't know how many visitors he can have. Hope and pray for the best.
