I must have been incoherent at the time. I agree with #7, should have been removed years ago. Putting 2 new holes in between new 6 and 9 utilizing the elevation available on that side of the park would be sweet though.

totally agree. 8 isn't bad at all, it's a straight shot. it opens up after the first 4 trees. seven, on the other hand, is just no fun to throw because of the teepad. that shit just messes with you

Yeah. That teepad sucks.

I hole 7, but yeah the teepad is the bummer more than anything on that one ...

As it is now 8 is a decent hole. Throwing straight does in fact work.

Comprendo... Jus sayin I wouldn't mind if it disappeared. Not really a memorable hole IMO. And who throws straight? Really....c'mon

There are no holes at Shaver that are lefty. The only three holes that are even close are 10 (lame at best, 175 ft, 10 ft off center), hole 14 (same thing, not a hyzer but fade and a righty has a better chance) and 18 is nothing either. Where on that course is a lefty hole like 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 or 12? How about the argument that Hole 2 has two routes. Even the new long holes do not favor a left handed throw, Hole 6 has a landing zone for righties but left is down the hill to the road.

90% of all shots in CR/Hiawatha/Marion are either straight or righty hyzers.
