2 Z Nuke - New and flippy
1 Champ Wraith - straight
1 Champ Viking - flips and tracks right
1 C-PD - overstable, flick/thumb
3 Teebirds - Stable (CH11x), straight (CH11x), working on flippy (DX)
1 Road Runner
3 Rocs - fresh KC for stable, month old DX for straight and old DX for flip machine
1 Wizard for drives
2 Magic for putts and some low power throws

For the most part the Viking is an experiment, I also have a CFR Xcal and Star Eagle in there as testers. I'm trying to keep my bag a bit simpler this year and not have so many different molds flying around.

Vikings are very good discs. I think about throwing them again all the time.

Really? You sure you don't just have some old stock to get rid of?

I dont actually. Thats part of the problem. For a few years the Viking had a bad part in the mold, same with the Teerex. Thats why I stopped throwing them.

Sometime between the 2nd and 3rd runs they just got crappy. Really understable and unpredictable. Innova finally figured out the problem and fixed it. I however am not very trusting of big business and would prefer to throw the earliest runs and they are very hard to decifer outside of the record grooves.

Its not a cost issue for me, its more of location. They arent advertised as 1st runs much, if advertised at all. These arent discs that carry much of a premium if any at all, because its still a gamble. There are at least 2 years worth of bad ones out there, and even Dave D says to be sure, get one of the ones with the newer stamp.

They should have done a recall IMO. Seems like they are more worried about people buying as many discs as possible, than quality control.

I agree 100%. When the president and face of your company is admitting there is bad product out there, they should offer a recall on those items, even if to only replace them with a correct version. I have a few on the shelfs, but fewer Viking fans, some of which like the flipper versions. I am not one of those.

Quality Control has gone downhill. I tell people all the time about the amazing durability of the first candy plastic and to where we are now, which I personally feel is crummy. I also tell them how there was a time when you were taught to find the best disc for you, not the best disc for your situation on the course, which is how they are sold now. IMO, the flight charts are basically there to point out all the stuff you dont have in your bag and why you suck.

Look at a "Whats in Your Bag" thread sometime. Different discs for every shot possible and some that are made up.

Maybe if I give my discs some respect online, they will actually start performing for me.

Drivers:

1 167g-Starlight Boss- Goes far, almost broke in hard fade.
1 170g- Star Destroyer- Goes pretty far also, less fade.
1 175g- Champion Orc- Go to driver for most control distance shots.
1 175g Champion Teebird- Newer w more fade.
1 175g Champion Teebird- Straght w slight fade.
1 175g QJLS- Beat in Teebird, lands straight.
1 175g Go Champion XCal- Was sidearm, now garbage. New coming.
1 175g Star Leopard- Anything and Everything.
1 175g Champion Banshee- Thumbers, Sidearms, Mid Range w fade.

Mids:

1- 180g. Champion Stingray- Straight to Turnovers, Rollers.
1- 180g. QMS- Big Putter, stable disc, perfect control, lands flat.
1- 177g. Z-Buzzz- Primary mid range.

Putters:

1- _putter of week__. This thing fvcks me over all the time.
1- 175g SS Magic- Main putter, or was, may still be, who knows.
1- 175g. Soft Wizard- Approach, reliable. Fvcks me when putting.
1- 175g. SSS Proto Magic- Turnover putts, approaches, tailwind putts
1- 174g. Pro Pig- headwind /crosswind putts, upshots, sidearms.

On Deck:

Soemthing to replace the Ch Glo XCal, probably another putter until spring really does show up. A new QJLS, a new Starlight, newer Leopard. The way I have been playing it doesnt really matter what I am throwing off the tee, itll play. If its in within 20ft, Im probably taking a 3.

Thinking about getting a smaller bag now that I don't carry as much plastic.

-2 Forces (Wind drives, 1 flippy ESP 1st Run/1 Z Sutlif 10yr)
-2 Destroyers (Open drives, 1 Star, 1 Echo)
-2 Wraiths (Long accurate drives, 1 Star,1 Echo)
-1 Star Max (Sidearm/Skips)
-1 Old mold Champ Beast (Huge tunnel shots)
-1 Champ Monarch (Anhyzers/Rollers)
-1 Elite Z Reaper(Thumbers)
-2 Crystal Buzzs (1 flippy Sutlif 10yr, 1 stable)
-1 FLX Drone (heavy wind/short skips)
-1 Yeti (Driving+approach)
-3 Vibram VPs (Main putters)

*Thinking of putting the Firechick back in and pull the Reaper. Also, might add a Hornet.*
Living for flight. One day at a time.
