ACE

Postby Sprague » Sat Oct 16, 2010 8:49 pm

11a is 25ft shorter and up to the right...my shot was L to R and was stalling in - today I birdied from a far worse shot that blew by - soooo I'm calling it good!

Mike the Ax, meet Clue, Clue, Mike the Ax...now that you guys are introduced...Clue is just joking around.

Now to address the bad ace theory...anybody who blanket statements any ace as bad probably should have built a smaller cup cause theirs is half empty. I've had horrible aces (please hit that metal bush - hole 3 USDGC) and I've had amazing aces (ones that were dying at the basket no matter if they went in or not - too many of these to site examples  )

Clue, your ace on 11 was bad.

It was terrible. I'd have a hard time throwing a worse shot on that hole.

OK it's all good. And I meant to say RHBH not LHBH previous post. Greg throws that sidearm wasp shot every time on that hole, either pin position, and always birdies except for the ace last week.

Thanks Mike...now that you have posted this, I will probably hit the first tree next time we play that hole!

"Always birdies" might be exaggerated, but sometimes I do manage to get a little magic out of that Wasp! Even if I don't get it to land flat, the forehand has no risk of skipping 60ft down the hill like RHBH. That ace run would've stayed in the circle if it missed. Put some touch on your shots Clue.
