sportszone sunday toss around once every few weeks

Postby natohammy » Sun Dec 12, 2010 8:24 pm

just curious what people thought about the idea of renting out sportszone indoor soccer field for a couple hrs once every few weeks or so. if 15 peeps split it down the middle it would work out to $5/hr per person. just trying to get an honest head count.

spread the word to whomever, unless anyone feels dif about it i kinda think the more the marrier, unless it gets outta hand which i see rather difficult. if we got to many to throw around comfortably we could just start taking a small portion of the cash and putting it toward a putting competition of sorts. i havent talked to the right people yet but im hoping theyll contact me back here in the near future. maybe ill try them a few times 2morrow. thru hear say ive heard its round 75 bucks/hour. if you break that down i believe its right at 5 bucks a person with 15 peeps for 2 hrs and so on. so like 7 and a half people could get an hour for 5 bucks each aswell  i think the times available will b the hardest part due to winter soccer but im willing to be flexible. contemplating this sunday. keep typin

Sports Zone definitely does not allow alcohol, big signs IIRC.

crazy you say that cuz i just got on here to post that tomorrow im gonna call dave kea with sportszone and ask him if we could come in and use the bball court for a lil while, i think the longest shot available in there is right around 100 feet, not great but itll do for only 50 bucks an hour. it looks like come jan. we'll be able to possibly get access to the soccer floor but for now i say we just start goin whenver any one wants and use the bball court. if we get the ball rolling now we'll be able to see how many people actually take to the idea of a weekly league which will help us find out what kind of revenue we have to work with. court is cheap and always available, there begging us to put the space to use, but the field would be so sweet, cost right around twice as much.
