11x Firebird

Yes the wing size does affect a thumber in distance. But so does the stability of the disc. Epic aside, the Flick is probably the longest thumber disc I have seen. Enough thread drift though. I got a flat top 12x firebird the other day. It flies just like the flat top 11x's.

10x champ eagles are the longest thumber discs I have seen thrown.

Thread is drifting....
However, I have used both the 11x Firebird and XXX for thumbers quite a bit and I would say that the Firebird is shorter and a bit more accurate just because it does not require as much room from side to side to make the shot. The XXX goes a bit farther mostly because it turns slower so it gets more glide time when upside down.

i got a yellow 11x if someone wants to buy it but you will have to come to albia to get it

I throw both. I throw a max weight star firebird and a 174 pink z pred. They fly almost identical. The pred's distance potential is much more though
