I may be incorrect, but I think that it may have been this guy.

I think that he was just saying that you could make contact on the forum's through PM's/e-mails to work out a way to make a donation.

raising funds

Postby puppetmaster » Wed Jan 31, 2007 1:37 pm

Angela, That was me, thanks for the responce. If you would just e-mail me and let me know the amount you would like to pledge, is all I need now. If everything go good, I would e-mail you back and ask for a check or anyway you or anyone else wolud like to pay, to Norwalk Park and Rec, and under the memo, wright down disc golf so if something goes wrong, they would refund it. Believe me, I have $150. in this and they would pay me back. But like I said all I need now are pledges.
My e-mail is mtldetect1@msn.com,
Thanks Gary Lehmer

Would the DSMDGC be interested in $150 for a basket sponsorship? Just a thought... LOL I can proudly say that ProFlight Discs has already done so! We have 4 holes left to sponsor...

...and they're officially gone... (-: You can tell there are plenty of people in this town who are interested, from a recreational level...

Now for the approval next week! :P

Wrangler... We've already met w/ Jon Latch, but thanks for the input. After submitting a few designs & being on the same page, Gary & I had about the same thoughts that Jon helped us with, but actually getting in the course w/ him was a help. We'll need help w. construction advice I'm sure - so we'll take you up on that, my friend!

Ok, update on this 12 hole course... THe Park Board approved the course, and agreed to match our fund raising amount for some nicer features int he course, like benches & trash cans, etc... WOOHOO!!!

Great work Nancy, Gary, Jeremy, Jason, & company! (oh yeah, me too - if I must say so). LOL

Anyway, city council meeting is Saturday, and with 100% Park Board backing, it sounds like we shouldn't have any problem with this going through... W-0-0-t!!!!! :P

Fund raising is up to $4570, and we're being matched by the Park dept...

We're looking forward to more fun w/ this course, but let's keep 'em crossed that now we get approval "@ the next level", and we'll be GOLDEN!

Excellent work guys. Keep us posted. I would like to have a hand in the construction phase. Maybe this question has been asked, but, any ideas on an estimated start date?

There's no solid answer yet, but from those more experienced we/ the city, they're projecting after Memorial Day. Thanks for your interest, Steve, I'll get w/ ya once construction gets closer! (-:
