2010 Course Work

Postby Budhyzer 17696 » Mon Apr 05, 2010 9:24 am

The crew has a lot planned for improvements to the course this year.
Extension of many tee pads to 12' long, adding the long pin placements to the A & C holes and Steve has a rather large project on #14 that will definitely keep him busy for a while.

Watch for updates as the work unfolds.

Tee pads on #12 & #14 are now 12' long for your throwing pleasure.
Btchn & Dev were also hard at work yesterday on the expansion of the tee pad area on #13 and now it is complete. -Looks sweet guys, thanks!

Very nice, the tee pad length was the only flaw to this course in my opinion. Looking forward to the dubs tournament.

On another note, I have the basket sickness again! 8) 8 new ones on the way! 8) I think I will be able to fix the destroyed one from the storm last year. It won't be perfect, but usable. I plan to raffle one off for the fall Wildcat tourney. Stay tuned for details.

Did the storm on tuesday mess the course up at all?

There is the occasional limb down and it is soggy on holes 2,3,and 4 but overall the course is in good shape.
The storm passed East of the course, I watched it out my patio door. I took a few photos of some low hanging clouds that could have been funnels trying to form.
Playing today at 4 if anyone wants to join in , Steve and I will be there for sure.
There will be some of us out there Friday starting around 4 or 4:45 depending if Kelly is coming up .

Paul has come upon 4 more of those sweet "slatted" benchtops! 8)
I'm sure Benchmaster Btchn will be hard at work installing them probably on the A-B-C holes and 9B in the near future.

I plan on extending two more pads this weekend, #3 pad for sure, and maybe #11 too; that is if I limit my playtime to just 3 or 4 rounds.

Pads #10 & #11 are now extended to 12' long.
I'll be working on # 3 tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who has appreciated all the hard work that goes into maintaining this course and has helped keep it clean. (except for Busch Light Guy - I see you're back for another year of ignorance.)

I'd really like to figure out who this guy is and "educate" him. His stupidity is wearing thin on me.

Seriously though the freakin guy has "0" respect. How F-in hard is it to use the trash cans. I'd rather just tell him not to play there if that's what he does. We could probably have a can on every hole and he would still use the ground. Sorry about the thread drift. I need my meds and I have none. Thanks to everyone that does respect the course.
