I'm going to be at CM around 3:15 for a little rehab. I'll bring a couple of bags with me. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun.

How much did you get done before the rain hit?

I tied one partially filled bag to the #4 sign since that seems to be a collection area for trash. I left the other one in the #15 barrel as a liner since the barrel was empty. Should have taken it with me up to #16 tee. It was a mess. I gathered as much as I could and piled it all by the tee sign to pick up later.

Overall, the course looked pretty good except for #16 and the creek behind #8 short. That barrel needs to be secured better. It's too tempting to kick over the edge.

I was playing with a group of 6-8 guys once and we had all just teed off from 8...we were walking down the fairway when we heard some punk kick the overflowing garbage can down into the stream...we all turned around and got up in his face...his 2 friends looked frightened and upset that their buddy had just done something like that...we watched while he went down and retrieved all the garbage that had flown everywhere...so...long story short...I would agree that moving that garbage can to a new or more secure location is definitely in the best interest of the course...

I just got off the phone with Parks Manager. They did get all the trash cans emptyed yesterday and will get us additional garbage sacks if we need them for picking up the garbage. I also, mentioned about the can next to #8 tee and said they would get something done, just would not be until mid-May when seasonal help starts.

I was thinking of moving it in between 8's tee and 3's long tee to catch garbage from people going over the bridge in both directions. At least they'd have to actually carry the barrel to the edge before sending it over. I'll request an anchor for it as well.

You could always keep it coated with a fresh layer of paint so as to catch the criminals red handed...

I'm going to bring a broom to sweep up all the broken glass tomorrow.

There is a tree down at SR. Between the fence and 1's yellow teepad. It makes getting into the course fun.
