Work Day- Saturday March 27th

Postby peyton » Tue Mar 23, 2010 9:35 am

I will be down at Legion working on the regular course setting up the baskets and fixing a few of the tee pads if anyone would like to help.
This isn't "I will play a round and help between throws". I have a few pins that need to be dug out and reset, thanks to the flood. Also I will be fixing the Krumboltz course to add 4 new holes due to construction up top. Thanks. Shovels and gloves are needed. Meet by the walk path gate @ 10am after that I will be in back someplace.

Yeah buy something with a point and isnt from walmart. Gloves make all the rest of the stuff you might want to know kinda pointless. Flat head shovels arent very cool for digging in dirt.

Maybe you should leave the shoveling to someone else and just pick up sticks.

I pulled the 5th basket out of the creek last night but still have to find the other two. I am hoping the city has them some place. If someone has a crowbar, we could use it tomorrow to fix one of the baskets.

I would like to thank everyone who came out today and helped with the many things we had to do. We even had time to play a round after work. I will set up another work day in a couple of weeks to get ready for the tournament. Again thanks to all that helped. The course is shorter now but we should have 18 to 21 holes soon.
