I do believe some of the early run Archon's were marked VW for "Vulcan/Wraith"...but it's just speculation from various msg boards.

I dont know when that is. I started throwing again last week, but tore up shoulder at Legion so Im taking it slow.

Now down to bizz, I've got a couple of things.

First, 2001 ce roc=best fying disc ever made, zaletti, you will not be disappointed, money isn't important, releasing that bird back into the wild is priceless. But....... The first person to give Titan 400 bucks can throw the one at the shop and see for themselves.

Second, I picked up a worlds champ archon this weekend, however, it has VW written on the bottom, I know it doesn't mean " das disc ", valk-wraith is the only thing I come up with, I hope it's not rare as 90% of the stamp is now gondie, Oh well.

Thanks for the input!
Peace

I agree w Joe.

I checked the bottom of mine and it could be seen as a VU or a VW. It looks more like sloppy writing of VU.

Thats how all we got in were marked. I wouldnt fear its rarity or collectability, Id doubt there will be much.

I would throw a 100$ disc all day...Maybe not in tight woods, but why not...I don't buy wall hangers.

They are Special Blend I think, but forget. If its been thrown, keep throwing it, it isnt worth much that I know of.

Nice buys with the 01s, Z. I'm about to pop on a few myself..both are new 177ish, one for 225 and one for 280. I figure its a decent investment, what do you think, Chase?

PM Chris Anspach, his bag never had a disc worth less than $50 in it, and it was always full

Be forewarned Dana...once you get your hands on one you will want more...they're more addicting than crack
I think that price seems reasonable for new ones...both of mine were lightly used so I got a fairly large discount off the purchase price...
I want to get a vending machine with fun sized candy bars...and the glass in front is a magnifying glass. You'll be mad, but it will be too late.

Id say those are still great prices. We arent talking baseball cards, here, disc golf isnt going away, ever. Pretty much the Honus Wagner of disc golf discs.

I've had one before for a few days that I quickly sold. It was quite tempting. I'd love to throw one, but won't when they are worth what they are.

Chase,
Hey, any idea where I might find one of these:

http://www.wrightlife.com/site/store/pr ... lor_discs/

Obviously, Mr, Wright is sold out; I tried Ebay with no luck.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
J
