Really, the shit would be an app that would calc doing GPS, though I'm not sure the accuracy is that precise. Or a laser rangefinder, but expensive to own.

I think they have tape measure apps.

Edit: yup, there is one called smart measure that uses trig. Just aim it at the ground it says.
