Postby diskey river » Tue Jul 24, 2012 7:02 pm

I have been scoring some gems at play it again sports and would love to flip them quick but these stupid f'in stickers won't come off. I have a rhyno in my bag I have thrown for over 6 years and it still has some pias sticker reminence.

Anyone have any suggestions on getting them off without scratching the disc.

WD 40
Should remove sticker glue and will wash off with soap.

DEET - bug dope. Get high %. Will strip the stamp so be careful.
Washes off w/ soap.

Easiest way to remove the glue residue is to use acetone (found in nail polish remover) or isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). If you use the nail polish remover, better follow that up with soap and water or else your discs will smell like they've been at the salon.

I use a towel with hot water on it after soaking it for a minute or so...never had an issue once I switched to this. I also stopped buying PIA last year since Titan opened in town, but yeah..
