Calling All Disc Golfers

Postby Ferch » Wed Nov 02, 2011 8:42 am

It is a shame that there is no footage on the 2004 Worlds held here in DSM. Can anyone help me out and enlighten the non believers what the Iowa worlds was like by posting footage on you tube? I remember seeing some of it at the Challenge player's party couple years back. Peas and carrots..

Note the long sleeve shirts and long pants (on dorkon Climo.) Sweet weather the whole week.

It was cold the first day. That pool's first round was at ISU. I was freezing.

Climo's still a dorkon.

It's more open now. Course was still a bit rough around the edges from just being installed that Spring.

Didn't this mostly consist of final coverage at the temporary DMACC course?

He looks like Ward Cleaver.

Yeah, Becky bought a bunch of worlds hoodies, and I was wondering if we'd sell them all in August. They were gone that first cold day.

My favorite Steve Rico quote at ISU: "Goddamn, bullshitty course..." - after missing a 20-footer on #12.
