First closed in 2007, re-opened in 2009, and closed again in November 2010 (most likely for good).

Really? I thought that place was done way before 07. Didn't realize it re-opened, either. Of course, I didn't work down there after 08. My old office used to go down there for lunch once a month.

Upon further review, through a quick Google search, turns out that both locations (Downtown and Urbandale) closed in 2002, the Urbandale locale re-opened in 2003, then closed in 2007, re-opened in 2009 and closed in 2010. The one and only time I went there was during the last reincarnation.

This pisses me off. 4 years and I had no idea they had re-opened.

Par for the course.

I take that back. The busboy was a developmentally challenged white kid.

I think I was at that same place!:

Stella's is probably out of business because their food sucked.

And for a quick fix, B-Bops is the shit...

Wing Zone had the best wings in town before they went out of buisness. They delivered too. Had just about everything (american) on their menu, and a bout a million diff choices of sauce

Everyone knows the best wings are at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo.

Didn't get my gut from NOT eating wings and burgers so listen up, ladies.

Best wings in Des Moines - Jethro's
Best Burgers - Django.

That is all. I hope you all get fat.

Every f'ing Thanksgiving I have to eat at one these on my way out to Oshkosh, NE. Makes for a long drive when you gotta stop every 30 minutes to find a crapper after eating there. It ranks right up there with eating at a White Castle or Krystal Burger.

I'm sorry that the middle of my sentence interrupted the beginning of yours.

Hands down Winner!!!!

I lived on Jethro's Wings before we got a Dish. They also have one of the best Tenderloins in the Metro as well.

Saving money by not getting a dish (or cable), then watching every game at Jethro's with a minimum $30 tab at a minimum 4 times a month is not the smart fiscal move the wife thought it was  Corey 1 - Wife 1,000,000

I always thought they called it that because that's what you got as a result. Apparently, I'm not the only one.
