He also termed the nick name Jake Speed...after absolutely murdering Newton by I would have to think mostly himself in a league doubles round. I heard Jake threw in a few long putts in his defense. I love how this thread definitely seperates the new from the old school. Unfortunately its a bad subject and makes me feel old.

Ha! I was on that card. I'll never forget it. Speed took about 2 seconds to nail a 60ft putt on hole 4 (cable catcher basket). If anything I'm underselling those 2 numbers...

I don't know if that changes the impressiveness either way, but it's good to have the record straight.

Ahhh, the Whippet. I should switch back to that for acute hyzers.
