General topics - anything goes within reason, keep it civil.

My "home course" has the following ratings and number of each:
3.0 - 1
3.5 - 3
4.0 - 7
4.5 - 3
5.0 - 1

Oh, and one guy who gave it a 0.0.

So instead of a 4.00 it is a 3.75.

Meh.

Can you comment on the reviews?

I think you can "report" a review but since I just view the site and am not a log in member I'm not sure how it's done.

We had two guys come over from Chicago and camped a couple nights. They said they saw the course through DGCR and plan their trips around the info on the site. IDK, I just as soon not have the course advertised too much, keep it less crowded.

I had talked up Wildcat to a few guys at SRO over the weekend and one of them was so impressed that he showed up here yesterday with his son , they are from Green Bay and travel through here on the way to Omaha a few times a year. They told Steve that this will be a definite stopping point from now on, LOVED THE COURSE!.
There was also some guys from Austin MN. that stopped by to play yesterday also.
The word is out that we have one of the best, well kept courses in Iowa.
"If you build it they will come" :D

yeah if those Wisconsin frizbee freaks would ever get out of their state they'd realize that they're still playing 1990's golf.

I dont know what else theyve voted on, but Blueberry, Highland Gold, and Granite trump everything in DSM.

Wow, what? You are saying that each of those 3 is better than the best of the Big 4?

That's a bold statement.

Clue? Agree/Disagree?

I've heard that too. I really want to get up to Highbridge. Don't think Clue's been there, so Lindsley will have to be the authority. Captain has been there too I think.

No doubt about it. They all make Pickard look like Heritage.

Gold = Longest course out there. Super huge 1300 - 1400 foot hole plays towards the road

Blueberry = Ball golf course out front with some pretty cool holes

Granite = kinda in between the 2 wanna say more wood shots than the other 2

Those are great courses but even highbridge has stuff that can be improved upon. Most of the signs were just small on the ground. Almost no benches on the entire course(s).

I think I have skewed view of courses. There might be too many good courses in Iowa. Because of this you really have to impress me otherwise your course is just average.
