DG on TV: easier than you think (now online, too)

Postby Disc Golf Live » Wed Mar 02, 2011 10:05 am

The latest episode of Disc Golf Live video magazine can be found online, links included below. We're now posting our episodes online and hope you established disc golfers enjoy the show. But our real goal is bringing DG to TV in communities large and small, all across the country. If you have a public or community access station in town, then you can probably see DG on TV in your area. We provide our show at no cost and all it usually takes is a little local legwork to get broadcasts arranged.

(Part 2: Am Nationals finals, Vibram Open Hot Putts, Clash DVD's Collegiate Championships)

Thanks to the PDGA, Innova, and Discraft for supporting the efforts of Disc Golf Live to bring DG to a broader audience than ever before. And thanks also to Billy Crump, Mike Bozik, Steve Dodge, and the Scandinavian video mafia for sharing their video productions.

Take care,

If you don't like free stuff, click away.

I've sent the latest episode of DGL to stations and local program submitters across the country. Always happy to set folks up with DVD copies or free downloads to submit for broadcast locally. Lots of local/community/public access stations out there, but we could use more golfers on the local end to submit the program for broadcast.

We also welcome video contributions to DGL, so if you have a story to share, let us know. There are great tales to be told about disc golf, and we'll share yours with millions of potential viewers across the country.

Episode 46 kicks off with action from the Capital City Renegades' 2011 CCR Open, taped at a newly installed course called the Devil's Den in Holt, MI. We'll follow the lead Open group through the final round, with a break to catch up with the top Women and Masters along the way. Action then switches to Iowa's Ben Callaway and the nation's top amateurs as we wrap up our series from last summer's US Amateur National Championship from the Toboggan course in Milford, MI. Our shows are on Youtube, here are the links for this episode:

Part 2: http://youtu.be/1xO3GlggVPw

All you guys in IA know who wins in the end already, I'm guessing. Lots of great golf off the lead cards in both events this episode, and the gals and geezers in the first bit have some outstanding shots as well.
