Holy cow, I pre-ordered a Razer Onza Xbox controller a couple months back. Well it showed up and I haven't played my Xbox in a month or more so I just put it on Ebay, and the bidding is already up to $100 bucks! Gotta love pre-orders that can't meet demand :) The controller looks sweet, but I'll buy another this fall when it gets too cold and I want to play again.

I don't suck at Gears, the f*$&ing programmers suck for not making the controls do what you tell them to.

 The game is flawed at time, Ill agree. Its a great concept, but the whole "host" things is kinda BS. Thats why I cant wait for Gears 3. Its a lot more balanced. We will be geekin out all weekend. Hop on sometime....

Do you need a Gold account to run Netflix on Xbox? I'm finding conflicting comments out there. It looks like there may be a hack, but it may be for an earlier Xbox.

I don't even have the Xbox yet. So you think the gold account is worth it? It's not that expensive.

I dunno I think it's probably worth it. Even if you're not really a gamer there's a ton of things you can do with a Gold Account to make it worthwhile. Hell, just d/l the occasional retro-game and it becomes worth the $50 some odd it costs.

But then ESPN3, Hulu when it comes out, and anything else they may add? Cheaper than any other 12month membership you're going to buy for anything.

/not sure about netflix as I've always had a Gold Account attached to mine.

We were talkin, and its more than likely gonna be a 4gb since it was free with a laptop purchase. Without an upgrade to the 120 he may not be able to dl much, if anything(I guess memory cards for some things would work). Netflix shouldnt be a problem tho. Its 60 a year for gold. PS network is free, but nowhere as good as xbox. And we've discussed porn on bluray before Bman....Not a good idea :P

4gb is usually more than enough. Mainly because now you can get high capacity/speed USB sticks to store games and d'loads on. Supposedly some of the usb sticks have out performed the xbox hdd's as well. I have a voyager flash drive that I use to store game saves/videos/music on and it works great.

That doesn't sound farfetched at all. I wouldn't be surprised if that xbox hdd reads slower than usb 2.0 at times. I wonder if you could just attach a solid state through USB and store everything there? Hmm.

I quit playing Duke Nukem 3d mainly due to the ridiculous load times, even after I installed it, but partly because it sucked too.
