Hey, is this Rodney? The funniest part are the notes on the flickr page ( they don't show up here for some reason.) There is a note on his left hand that says 'Vader', his right hand that says 'Luke' and his face that says 'Geek'. Hee hee. If you ask me the geek is on the right.

I wasn't much into Star Wars, but that kid sure looks like a cute version of me.

"Julian Beever is an English artist who is famous for his art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. Its peculiarity? Beever gives his drawings an anamorphosis view, his images are drawn in such a way which gives them three dimensionality when viewing from the correct angle. It's amazing !!!"

Our brains don't fail to be confused by statements which are not found to contain non-negative words :)

There is quite a bit more to this than you think. Think beyond simple geometry (hypotenuse, angles...) and i may give another hint if i dont see someone post the correct answer.

That's how someone explained to me that 1 + 1 = 3.

Kind of reminds me of this oldy but goody...

Three guests check into a hotel room. The clerk says the bill is $30, so each pays $10. Later the clerk realizes the bill should only be $25. To rectify this, he gives the bellhop $5 to return to the guests. On the way to the room, the bellhop realizes that he cannot divide the money evenly. As they didn’t know the total of the revised bill, he decides to just give each guest $1 and keep $2 for himself.

Now that the guests have been given $1 back, each has paid $9. Notice that 3 x $9 = $27, and the bellhop has $2. But 2 + 27 = 29. If the guests originally handed over $30, what happened to the remaining $1?

Damn, I actually figured it out without realizing it. I created all of the shapes in visio, laid out both forms, and put one on top of the other. I assumed they weren't lining up because I didn't get the shapes exactly the same. Then I looked up the answer on the internets. ( didn't have anything like photoshop here at work, or it would have been a lot easier.)
