It's like looking at a miniature version of myself. Man this is getting weird.

Whoah, he's my mini-me. Back off!!! Not to give Dan too much credit, but it's funny how smart people stick out like a sore thumb on these threads.

does anybody know where the info on removing a logo from a disc is located.

Hey man, go to www.discgolfreview.com... They have a few articles on dyeing and modifying discs. (should be split into a new thread so as not to hijack Scott's original questions.)

No problem! I just found the cool article on dgreview about stenciling while I was looking for the artical about the plastics. If you are going to customize your discs I would like to see your results. There are some really cool discs out there and I would like to know how they were done.

I guess what I really am looking for is a kind of timeline spreadsheet of all the discs, types of plastic, manufacturers, basic high and low speed stability, power or distance needed or achieved by the disc, years of manufacture...
My favorite chart so far has been the gottagogottathrow chart and I kind of envision this as a larger more comprehensive version of that chart. I think it would be really cool to see the history of the golf disc and how its developed over the years. It might also ad some insight on players choices and the similarities between different molds and companies. I was hoping that Innova and Discraft would have a disc history on there sites, but I was unable to find anything.
I know im geekin out here, but I still think it would be cool.

meh thats not really geekin' it up....
one thing i have done when researching discs and disc info at least for innova is looking at what the players on innovas team throw....some of them will give side captions on why they throw that disc...or if they have more than one disc in there bag...why they carry more than one...
its kinda intresting when you are bored
The real excitement is playing the game.
