Anyone checked out Tv on the Radio's-Dear Science or Okkervil River's new album? Both are decent. Probably going to buy Gorjira's new release too.

Yeah, Dear Science is good. It is better than their last one, kind of a a return to form. Another recomendation is the newest Jenny Lewis, Acid Tongue. Really good songs, and quite bit different than her earlier stuff, really hard hitting.

I don't have any of Jenny Lewis's music but do have all of the Rilo Kiley cds. My buddy has also recommended the Yeahsayers too.

Matt Woods tonight at BOG. $3 to get in. If you haven't heard this kid, you need too. That is if you are blues fan.

Also...Tinsley Ellis will be at BOG on November 9th. If you want to hear some of his best, look for a CD called " LIVE! HIGHWAYMAN". Good stuff. This one is $12 to get in.

I can't seem to get enough of Iron and Wine's latest cd. Is that new Okkervil river cd any good. i like lost coastlines and have been listening to their previous album lately. I really enjoy this Dr. Dog cd that i got recently. i don't know anything about the band, but the whole album is pretty diverse. Any decemberists fans out there? seeing them in wheaton, il friday.

Neutral Milk Hotel isn't bad. In the Aeroplane over the Sea is a highly regarded album and consistently makes quite a few top album lists.

I'll have to check some out. I have Pixies, LCD Soundsystem, Built to
Spill, and Interpol. I don't really care for Interpol though.

How are things on the west coast? :)~~~

Pixies rock. I'm seeing Dropkick Murphys in Columbia tomorrow night. They never disappoint.
