The "late" Bill Hicks? He was Denis Leary before Denis Leary.

Ya I loved Dennis Leary until I found out what a big joke thief he was. Of course there is no one worse than Carlos Mencia, and Dane Cook has been guilty of some joke stealin as well.
Is this the line for the beer, or the line for the coupons for the beer?

I recently bought Patton Oswald's comedy cd, Werewolves and Lolipops. This is one of the funniest comedy albums I have ever listened to. From top to bottom comedy gold!

Bradbalk wrote:Right now it doesn't get much better than Jim Norton. His last HBO Special Monster Rain is a must rent if you haven't seen it, and he has a new stand up series on HBO in about a month that he will host that will have good up and coming comedians.

Some other great ones I didn't see mentioned. Greg Geraldo, Bill Burr, Jim Jeffries, Jim Brewer, Jim Gaffigan, Larry Reeb(Good ole Uncle Lar) and Steven Lynch.

Saw Stanhope last weekend in Chicago at the Riverside Theater. Funny guy and the opening acts were funny too. Stanhope doesn't necessarily tell jokes rather than rant and talk a bunch of shit.

April 9th we are also going to see Jim Jefferies at the same Theater.

Aziz Ansari is another comedian who I recently heard of. Funny fella.

You wanna see a local comedian who is absolutely hilarious go see Bustin Dustin and Shannon Gillespie. They are some funny funny mofos and they are just getting started, so the shows are still only like 10 bucks. Check em out on youtube...

edit: i should swear less

I've got agree Patton is one of the funniest i've ever listened to. I love Jim Gaffigan too, he's super straight laced and food jokes are just great.

All my favorite comedians are dead .... sucks. Mitch Hedberg was the man.

"I never joined the army because "at ease" never seemed that easy to me. It seemed rather uptight, still. I do not relax by putting my arms behind my back and parting my legs slightly, that does not equal ease to me. At ease is not being in the military. I'm eased bro, cause I'm not in the military. "

"I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it."

"Sometimes in the middle of the night, I think of something that's funny, then I go get a pen and I write it down. Or if the pen's too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of ain't funny."

Search John Valby. This is NSFW; it doesn't matter which clip. Funniest guy I have ever seen or heard.
