The Predator has more of a gliding hyzer where the firebird has more of a dump hyzer. I think that is part of why the Predator has greater distance potential over the Firebird. I would say that they are comparable in stability, with the Firebird having a slight bit more in the fade department. Both are great disc's for that overstable fairway driver slot in your bag. Personally I like the firebird over the predator because it is easier for me to throw a thumber with. Throwing a thumber with a predator is no fun at all.
