What am I looking for?

Postby Nick Strut » Sat Dec 13, 2008 8:41 pm

Looking for a new disc: mid range-up shot. Have used a roc,pro roc,and super roc for a long time. Untill recently that was fine. Now all my Roc shots are turning right. {I'm right-handed} I don't know if my arms getting stronger? Or if my throwing style has changed. Looking for a disc that will go a little farther and stay straight. Help a brother out. Thanks

I use a Buzzz for backhand and a Shark for sidearm. Suggest you try a Buzzz.

Use a Z Buzz. It'll take forever for it to wear in...

If you want longer go with a squall from DGA. Its the longest midrange out there.

to me the heavier ones (179,180) are a bit more stable than the lighter ones. it will probably still turn on you though. You might be getting some off-axis torque that is causing your rocs to turn. they are pretty sensitive to off-axis torque.

Try throwing your rocs with more hyzer...

Had similar situation a couple years ago ... then found the Drone by Discraft ... very stable ... even after broke in ... super grippy too ... not an easy disc to throw straight for very long though ... but ... its for sure not going to take off an-hyzer on ya ...

You could also try an ESP/Z Wasp. They are a bit more stable than a Buzzz. Make sure it is domey though=more stability. If that is not enough stability, a Drone like Harmon said should do. You could also try a Star Gator.

"Q" or "S" Sentinel. Very stable. The Q is more stable than the S.

Since everybody else is getting their plugs in...try a new Gateway Warrior. Definitely a stable to overstable flyer.
