Buy this disc. I'm keeping one destroyer in the bag for now, but this disc is replacing it for most shots I would grab the Destroyer for.

I think that this disc has a good amount of control, but in a headwind it really fails, IMO. I had a chance to throw this a few times before it bombed off anny in a headwind at Clark Park.

I really liked it for most of my backhand shots that were not into a headwind. Great distance with a little high speed turn made it great for level or downhill shots, didn't have to put too much power into it either.

So, I threw it for about 2 weeks and really liked the disc, just not for headwinds. Good low ceiling sidearm disc as well. Not too great for overhand throws though. I have fairly large hands, since I am 6' 3", and I found the rim too wide to get a tight grip on for a decent overhand throw.

The boss is not meant to replace the Pro Destroyer! They are different flights and should be used differently. I still use my Pro Destroyer into moderate headwinds - the boss is way to hard to control over all.

Its been no secret that this would be his disc.

He doesnt deserve a disc. Des has been way more deserving and a much better ambassador for the game. Theres actually a huge list of players that should have got this before Feldberg.

Still have no idea why people are so down on Feldberg. Is it the Yankees/Duke/Cowboys thing where people just root against the people who frequently win? Or is it a personal thing? Don't really care, just don't know.

Who will be the next female discer to get a signature disc? Des or Val or someone else? I know who most people on here will vote for, but..... ?? Seriously what's a girl gotta do?

That felt ghey as hell to type that last line. 8)

Actually, I don't really know that much about Feldberg, except that he's the highest "rated" player in the world, and he's won a number of high profile tournaments, and championships. Subsequently, I don't dislike him, or feel like he doesn't deserve a disc.

I feel, as I think was the point of the post above, that there are "others", specifically Des, who has dominated the competition for a long time, and is still the highest rated woman in the world.

It was also mentioned that Des is an ambassador to the game. Her and husband Jay travel pretty much non-stop during tournament season, putting on clinics, promoting the Edge Fund, and representing the sport in a professional, and gracious manner.

To me, and maybe others, it just seems a little overdue.

I don't think Des will get a disc. I'm sure she gets other incentives though. I heard that when Juliana's name was put on the Valkyrie, sales for the Valkyrie went down because guys didn't want to throw a "girl's disc"
If she can't swim....she's bound to drizzown.

yeah, I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with the release of the Orc.

valid point though, I never thought about that.
