Star Monster

Postby MillerGT 41638 » Sun Jun 08, 2008 11:50 pm

Purely opinion, but this disc is almost religion for me. It's a go-to disc in a lot of occasions. It's a speed 10 which isn't slow but not the fastest disc made. It's over-stable, so makes it great to throw into the wind and gets good distance in just about any situation. If the occasion calls for it, I've found that I can throw the disc tomahawk and forehand great and even backhand if the situation is kind of hairy. My Star Monster is 172 grams and I recommend this disc to anyone looking for a solid disc to do great with. Anybody else with me here?

There are a few here that swear by the Monster, so I'm sure. I throw a Star Teerex for an overstable driver, but its getting to be more of a consistently-thrown driver for me. I still haven't tried the Monster yet. :?

Well if you get a chance try using that Star Monster sometime. You mentioned the Tee-Rex, if you get a chance try using a Star Destroyer sometime, I have one and it's slightly faster than the Rex and is similar in flight. Give it a try buddy!
