I got one from Mark S. only got to throw it a couple times and wow is it overstable. tried throwing some thumbers and tomahawks, it fliped way to slow. I know it is good for skips but what else/ what are your opinions? can't beat it for the price i got it for. $5!! Phil got one to. He really wants to get rid of the innova/ discraft discs he has. all 300 of them :D

The slow turn thumber is a really handy shot to have. The slow turn thumber is more or less the "distance thumber"...unless you are throwing an epic for a thumber. It is money when you are in the woods too. Keep working it and you will eventually see how useful that shot is.

What would you throw if the pin was close and you want it to turn quickly? Different disc or different technique?

I either throw way overstable discs or way understable discs for thumbers. I either use my spike hyzer disc or my roller. If I am throwing a short range thumber...under 200...I will go with my roller. 200-300 I will go with whatever is the most overstable disc in my bag.
