New Pin Locations

If you walk down that path across the little bridge just short of the old location, it is just on top of the stairs on the OTHER side of the bridge, on that kinda gravel path where the busted up grill is. Its mostly left and a bit lower (elevation-wise) than it used to be.

Played this course again today. its fun to dream of what shaver could be :)

I'm intrigued by this ....... I always thought of 16 as a solid, but tough, par 3. From what I remember the pin was only like 300 or so from the tee and was more than reachable with a solid throw down left side. Had something changed that made it such a tweener?? Were's the pin in relation to the original pin location?? Thanx .... and keep up the good work in CR

Its been moved twice since that placement, I think it plays between 430-450 maybe a little lighter. Its straight back from the OG spot.

I really like 18. Tough 3 now. I also got a 2 on 16 today. Pretty much will never throw a shot like that again. Put it 1 inch from the basket.

Someone just moved it farther back, so you wouldn't be doing that any more.

18 is a great hole now. Now for big arms it's not about running at the 2 or not but more about where your first shot should end up. I thought it was a good hole before but now you have to make your 1st and 2nd shot really count to get a 3.
It will put more on trying to get to the middle of the grass instead of still being able to get a 3 if it hyzers early and you end up short and can throw another hyzer to the basket.

Another thing I like about 18 is the tee shot you have to have a good shot. If not you auto 4. Before you could get up and down for a 3 if you missed the gap. Now you have to hit the gap and 2nd shot is key to getting a 3.

the new 13( i3 tee to 14 basket) is a good par 4. Very rewarding if you place well off the tee. The new 18 (added after 18 so suppose its 17 now) is a great hole. A par 3, fun shot off the tee pad. It's a hard duece and shoud have good score separation. New 6 needs to be cleaned up a bit. I think the verdict is still out on that hole.

14's basket still has one of my locks on it. I wouldn't mind getting it back sometime.

18 is now 17. After you putt out walk up the gravel path and you will see new #18. It's an anhyzer shot over and up the valley. Shot similar to what Acehunt used to do in his tourney but this is cleaned out.

when 6s fairway gets groomed and a clear path is established for ease of play i think it will look dam good, just needs a lil bit of lovin, i think that will also add some score seperations considering how bad a tiny mistake early could cost you. one of my favorite things about all the changes is how well it seems to play in with all of the mysterious historic paths. adds flavor! any bridge builders out there feel free to have at it
