keep the pin location the same, move the pad back and to the left (as you face the hole)

Hey KVN, don't beat around the bush about hole number eight.
Tell us how you really feel about it.

I always thought it should go the opposite way from the pad, a downhill shot towards the road. Then a hole back up the valley to nine's pad. Of course, that would be an extra hole added and not too much fun. /sarc

Changes coming sounds interesting!
8 has been the hole everyone cries the most about, but it was thinned out in the middle and is only what 225ft. Not saying it is a great hole, but its not as random as people make it out to be anymore. Just figured with the basket already out it wouldn't be much to change it up to make it a little longer.
7 being moved to go down the road and then 8 back up towards 9's pad is really what seems like it would be a better use of the space for those two. It sounds like some specifics are already planned out.

THANKS!! for all the work to improve the course

#8 isn't that bad. It's at least fair now. It used to be brutal. #7 is probably my least favorite. Poke with an odd tee pad.

Still several different natural lines to reach the pin, even with the horrible teepad.

8 is just dumb. It is better than it was, yes, but there are several other holes thst could be put in that same location that would play much better

I think the only problem with 7 is the non level teepad.
