Courses in town...

Postby Detra319 » Wed Apr 29, 2009 12:58 pm

Wonder why it is that we have so many people in town that play frisbee golf, but none of them list any of the courses in Cedar Rapids as their favorite. I understand most are easy, and one is just ridiculous, but is there no pride when it comes to our courses?

Its not like I have played a small sampling...I have played courses all over the US, some good, some bad, some amazing. I just don't get it... dunno, mostly posting this to start something to talk about, so lets hear it!

it just sucks because we play them so much and we got used to them and old....we know what to expect everytime, whereas playing new places is such a good experience you never know what to expect.

Legion by far is my favorite (always has been) local course and although I have only played it twice Wildcat is very nice and well thought out course!!

We truly are spoiled in Iowa as I have family in Indianapolis and its truly sad to see how few courses there are there!

This appears to be a bad time of year to attempt to start a discussion, lol.

Jones is my home course and will always be my favorite. Although Wildcat Bluff is gaining ground fast to be the elite course in the area. Great job and thank you to Hepp and the W.B. Crew for all your efforts in making an awesome course.

I used to play Shaver everyday all day. Then about 2 1/2 years ago I found a 9 hole at WC and have fallen in love with that course. Ive traveled around the country and found Wildcat has the thought and heart put into a course that I want... Then they turned it into a full 18 and dam I dont want to leave. If I had a vehicle Id probably live out there May thru Sept....
