Pouring concrete for tee pads on Saturday Sept 16th

Postby peyton » Wed Sep 13, 2006 12:27 pm

I don't have the time yet but we will try and pour most of the pads. We have 15 tee pads framed. We need a couple of people who have experience finishing concrete. Let me know if you are interested.

Saturday Sept 16th we will be pouring 8 tee pads. We are starting at 8am and should be done around 11am. Plenty of time to get cleaned up and watch the Iowa/Iowa State game. We need bodies, thanks.

Nothing until next spring at least. Still have to make and install 36 sleeves and build two 25' bridges. We won't put the baskets in until the course is complete.

I don't think we will dig in the holes til next spring. We have to decide what type of baskets to get, which leads into what size pipe to use for the sleeve. DGA put some worthless tabs to hold locks on there poles. I want to put the same as at Legion, which Troy welded himself. No one will use a crowbar to break those. Also some of the baskets will be elevated at this course and we will have to landscape and build to make that happen. I hope to get some folks together this Saturday to finish pouring the remaining 8 1/2 tees. Two tee pads will have to wait until we landscape them. I will let you know if we can use extra hands. Thanks

Right now there are 16 tee pads poured and that's about it. We need to build 17's tee pad because it sits on the side of a hill and decide where we can put a 18th hole. Baskets have not been ordered yet and we haven't started making sleeves for them either.
I have not had much time to work on this but will probably visit it soon.
