Good turn out, great weather, and not as sloppy as yesterday. The ground is absorbing water quickly.

I played with AO and Brad Milder first round. They shot 50 and 53, respectively. Highly impressive, steady, solid rounds by both. Very fun to watch. I think that AO has shot 49 once or twice and that's it. He'll correct me if I'm wrong.

In the B's my best is 49 from red and 51 from the blue. The A's I do not know about.

I got muddy enough at work this week. I don't need to get all muddied up in my spare time. Besides, I'll be playing plenty of golf later in the week on a couple of the best courses in the *world*.

Clue -- best courses in the world???? You must be coming to Iowa City then

just from scanning those, yeah, sure the weather looks nicer, nice course, out in the middle of chuckin nowhere, but Peninsula blows it away, and we can all be there in less than two hour drive.

stiers, even with a semi bunged up back you should have played in the A pool, your 56 was a solid 4th, worth more than 1st in the B pool
Adding up scores after league... Greco-"Kerri, you shot 11 up" Kerri- "oh a 65 isn't bad" Greco-"that was the back nine"

Nah, he should of played B pool. I played B, Pete did, my brother did. We were all pretty evenly matched. He only won by two strokes.

...and by middle of nowhere you mean about the same distance as Newton from West Des Moines. Did you notice the other 27 holes on the same property? How about the other par 63 course at Moody's? Don't forget to check out Searight and Circle C on that same website. They are on the same street in Austin. Nevermind, I'll just cancel my trip and play Peninsula.

i just didn't know what to expect. not sure if the time off messed with my stroke or not. (it did for the first couple of holes) or if the pain would come back in the middle of the round. but after i woke up this morn it's pretty sore. so i'm not playin again til the jones fundraiser.

Im not sure if your back was f-ed up like mine, but i had to take over six months off because I tried to play a round too early without letting it heal fully. I was surprised to see you out yesterday, but take it easy, back injuries dont heal quick.
