Looks like we will have snow on the grund for the ice bowl. As of right now its about an inch and is light and fluffy. Played yesterday and everything was easy to find.

I have taken Friday off work and will be out there making certain that the tee pads are snow/ice free as well and clearing the shelter area and setting out flags for the temp holes. Come on out and help if you don't have anything going on, should be there around 11am, will post exact time later.

Forecast is saying sunny and 30 for Saturday with temps staying below freezing all week. This is the perfect forecast as there will not be any mud to worry about.

Kidding aside - I'll be there Saturday morning selling Ice Bowl merchandise along with taking PDGA membership renewals.

If you haven't renewed your PDGA membership yet, do it this Saturday! With 3 A-Tiers in the state of Iowa this year where membership will be REQUIRED to play, I suspect we will have more people renewing this year! I have the forms and by signing up through the Des Moines Disc Golf Club, you will save $5 on your membership this year! So bring extra dough, or your checkbook!

If you could get the large branch on 14 and 18 that would be great. If that's to much work than if your out there playing this week just pick up some sticks along the way. I have picked up a buch but there is still some out there.

If I mail you a check to renew through the club can you promise me you'll cash the check before August?

On top of my entry fee and meager food bank donation I can also donate all the bowls and spoons for said chili feast. All I need is an ice bowl official to say "Do It".
