Good Ole Fashioned Dubs Match
Sunday September 16, 2012 @ Ames, IA.

Pretty simple setup:

$20 for a doubles team w/ $2 optional ace fund per team.

2 rounds of 18 at Stable Run (13th Street).
First round plays Long Tee to Long Basket or Gold to Gold.
Second Round plays Short Tee to Long Basket or Red to Gold.

All one division with 100% entry payout to approx top 40%...straight cash.
Limited to 20 teams (40 players).
Ties for placing will play-off sudden death.

Be at the course and ready with entries @ 9:30am so we can get throwing by 10.

This is a league/rec style match so no pre-reg or checks will be accepted, only cash (please no $50 or $100 bills if you can at all help it).

It is encouraged to bring a snack or small lunch as we will take about a 15 minute break from the last score turned in before starting the second round, we are not going to make this a whole day thing.

Lastly anyone who wants to play is welcome, make sure you find a partner :) We want everyone to have a good time in a competitive environment doing the thing we love to do, throwing plastic, and maybe it can become a regular thing in the near future for a fun, quick weekend event.

Questions, shoot me a pm or call the mobile (Garrett Miller 319-213-1007).

It was brought to my attention that I didn't mention the doubles setup. It will play "best shot style" both rounds so each person shoots, take best shot and both throw from there again. I apologize for not making it clear in the original post.

I would also just like to reiterate no pre-registrations and only cash for entry day of, as this will be straight cash payout.

I'm not saying that, if you are there on time and ready to go, great. I don't want to turn players away, I'm trying to get a decent turnout but at a reasonable number for me since I will be running it solo essentially and playing as well and I also don't want to make this a whole day thing which was another reason for putting a cap on players.

Must not have been Fausch. The Small Town Caper would've taken it down!
I'm sorry that the middle of my sentence interrupted the beginning of yours.
