Great time

Postby RelentlessLefty » Sun Sep 30, 2012 12:00 pm

Had a great time at this tourney! When signing up I thought it would not get over until 7pm. But because this tourney was to promptly ran and the Clarings were running everything quickly and smoothly it was over at 5pm. Great job on the win as well.

I have one issue....why was a 986 rated player allowed in inter? do the doubles tourneys neglect rating rules. This had no bearing on our team making any funny money, but it was hard to explain to my brother who had only played two tourneys. its not upsetting.....its disappointing, is the best way I can put it. No explination is necessary.

Sorry to complain about this. Once again I would like to say the Clarings did a great job. The players pack and the disc design was awesome! Thanks again!!!!

I had no idea that the guy was rated 986, looked him up and he has played 1 pdga tourney and averaged 986.

Isn't 975 and above an open rating?

Thanks for the clarification. I probably should have asked the question in a pm. By no means did this ruin a great weekend of disc golf!

Except protected divisions. Should not have happened in pdga sanctioned play and they would have won Advanced if they had been placed correctly.

George Smith's partner had the best/most unorthodox putt ever, but was pretty effective. Two 47's at Ewing were pretty crazy imo, cant believe Mikal and I didnt even sniff the cash, only made a few mistakes....thought our 48 at Ewing would have got us up there. Sick shooting Joe and Calring, it was the perfect offset pairing maybe ever.

Couldnt have said it better myself Lindsley. Unbelievable shooting by Claring and Joe T. They were both disc throwing robots. I think they missed maybe 1 putt inside of 60 feet all day. It was a pretty hopeless feeling really as Clue and I played the best we ever have at this event and it didnt mean jack lol.
