NOPE. I beleive Lindsley is called donator. Besides, Daryl is looking forward to throwing me a beatin like last year  . All kidding aside, I see both sides of the argument here. All of the guys I would be playing with if I moved up are fun to play with and very cool guys. The other side is I cannot afford nor am I interested in coming out and donating event after event in hopes that my all around game shows up for two rounds so I can leave with the money I came with. I have not said I would never do it, but I would have to feel comfortable with my consistency and confidence before I do. Shooting 860 golf one round and 960 the next is not what I call consistent and regardless of where that leaves me in my division it pisses me off too much. If and when I do move up it will not be as a result of the goodhearted ribbing I get and often give myself.

Looking forward to this one. It will be the first event in the last three I have played where I am not working the night before. Yahoo sleep. See you all there and thanks for all the hard work Dave and the other people have put in on the course.

GDL17921 wrote:OK I'm bored. Let's see if we can figure out what SSA will be first round (only layout I know for sure)

1. Long tee/long pin
2. Short tee/long pin
3. L/straight
4. S/middle
5. L/long left
6. S/short
7. L/long right
8. S/long
9. L/short (original pin)
10. S/where it always is
11. L/under the tree (middle)
12. S/short
13. L/long
14. S/middle
15. L/left
16. crete I assume/middle
17. L/long right
18. S/long right

I'm gonna say 4-6 down will be hot, with 10 down being about perfect. My guess for a 1000 rated round is.........53.

Word on the street is 13 baskets will move between rounds, and the tee pads will alternate again, opposite of the first round. yesssssssss

I've never played 12 in any other position than the longs and I've never shot anything better than a 5. I hope to improve on that Saturday!! 53-54 sounds about right, Wood. My last three tournies there I shot 64, 61, 64...

yep Mark the basket is just on the front edge of the tree cluster that are in the middle of the fairway. From the short tee, it's probably like 240, guessing tho, less than 300 for sure, it will be a "must birdie" hole first round....second round will be long to long I'm told.....

For those that care........

Championship layout would be Par 61 at 7,793 feet. Wysoki shredded it at 48 and was 1072 rated. 1002 rated for the challenge was 56

Round 1 layout is Par 58 at 6,326 feet. Perfect score would be 41

Round 2 layout is Par 58 at 6,932 feet. Perfect score would be 42

My guess for SSA is 51-52

Jay has the correct layout for round 1. Nobody but me knows the layout for round 2, but I will say that I took into consideration what would b the best layout based on the tee pad that will be used. There will be a total of 12 baskets moved between rounds and there will be a minimum of 1 temp basket, between hole 17 and 18 cuz I hate that walk. Field will be limited to 100.

Those of you worried about playing the wrong tees don't, there will be safety cones placed on all of the tee pads that are not being used and they will be moved betwen rounds as well.

Just a warning for those playing a practice round tomorrow night.....

I will be moving hole 5 basket to the short pin for the juniors event (from 430 - 630). I will flag the first round placement but its gonna be hard to see until you get close to it. As soon as the last group of juniors play hole 5 I will move it back.

So 19 or 20 holes each round? Will the score cards list the distances for each round? Being an out of towner I doubt I've played all the holes you're going to use. I do plan on playing a practice round or two tomorrow. I'm planning on getting there around 9:30 or 10:00a. I'm guessing the course will be in the first round pin positions. (I think I better write down Jay's tee info..)

The distances on the tee signs will be pretty close for most holes...Some will be off or not even listed if they were put in after the tees went in.
