Des & Jay Reading Clinics back in the Native Country

Postby Yeti » Fri May 18, 2012 10:19 am

Hello to the land of the Corn Fed!

We are jazzed to be back in our Native Land for an extended stay visiting family & friends old and new. After hitting Hickory Hills Dubs last year we had to hit the other event that has been on the bucket list for years--Legion of Doom!

We will be hitting the G&L as well next week. Along the way, some great local clubs will be hosting us for our Champion Clinic/Doubles events.

Last night we had 40+ in Marion at Legion for the FREE skills clinic and had a freakin' blast with doubles.

We will be posting more information about our stops and clinics which right now consist of next Tuesday with the DMDGC at Walnut Ridge and stops in the QC and Grinnell.

Stay Tuned, can't wait to see you all :D

looking forward to it. Everything correct above, except the buy-in for doubles will actually be $5, like the normal weekly league cost. Bring a friend guys and gals, Jay and Des are both excellent teachers and I guarantee that you won't walk away from this without knowing something that you didn't already know.

I attended his free skills clinic last night at Legion, I recommend attending one if you get a chance. Both Jay and Des do a good job in teaching the art of discing and I took away a lot from the clinic and plan on putting some of his hints to use.

Awesome to see you guys back on home turf. I can't make it to Legion or the Challenge this year due to work and family. But might try to make it to Grinnell. Either way if you can make to the CF area, you know there is free burritos in it for you.

We had a great turnout and clinic last night out at Walnut. Des counted 120+ people at the peak. Thanks for coming out and hopefully improving your game once you apply the principles. Several people reported better than normal putting at league. To make it stick you must pound it in with personal, quality practice sessions.

Up next: THE CHALLENGE!
