The 2012 Disc Golf Palooza Putting Contest for the Fade Weatherguard straps.

Bring your own putters. Minimum 2, but 6 would be ideal.

Every player who competes in Palooza 5 is eligible to play.

This is a sudden death elimination contest.

Each player will get 2 putts at each station, and each station will have a value for each putt made.

You must start ant the shortest station, and end at the longest station.

Station/Value

20ft/1 point per putt

30ft/2 points per putt

40ft/3 points per putt

In order to keep things moving. Each player will be allowed 60 seconds to complete the 6 putts at the 3 stations. We will have people to throw your putters back, so no need to scramble to pick up putters and run to the next station.

In the event of a tie those players will compete in another round.

If there is not an ace during the tournament, a portion of the ace fund will go to the putter contest winner, BUT if the putter contest winner did not enter into the ace fund he/she is not eligible to win the cash, just the straps. The cash would go to next highest score who did enter/pay the ace fund.

EDIT
Should be fixed now.

http://www.pdga.com/tournament_results/ ... 1619600887

It was a great day for disc golf.

Only ace during tournament play was from Phil who was not in the acefund! He got 13 short.

The fund was split into the two Bike World throw offs, and the putting contest.

Nick GDL Perry Aced hole 1 from the short pad with a Hornet durning the 2nd Bike World throw off.

Rod Reiter won the putting contest.

Elizabeth Jordt won almost all of the raffle items.

Congrats to the winners, and thanks for playing in the 5th Disc Golf Palooza!

Thanks alot Kurt I had a lot of fun. I love Carol Marty. That's the first competitive play I've done there since '04 Worlds. It's a very fun course to play.
