One of my ideas was to actually make it a little longer, back left of where it is near the road. This would allow you to throw short of the road and then approach down the road or take the old way. Still could use a tree or two being removed, but it would give it another option.

One other idea would be to make the pin wind dependant. It plays terrible with the wind out of the south which is what it was all weekend. Calloway threw a shot that went over the gap, stopped and then flew backwards nearly 100ft.

If you moved the pin to the old upper left pin when the wind is out of the south, that provides a very challenging hole with the OB right behind it. This is something the PGA does that I wish we saw more of in disc golf. Some holes are terrible in certain winds and adjustments can be made.

so instead of adjusting how and what you throw, adjust where the basket is.....I like it. Can I get somebody to throw for me too?

Nope, this is just banter from people that think hole 17 is a par 3. Once they realize that it is a par 4 the world will be right again.

I agree Dave. Part of this stems, imo, to discers not realizing or unwilling to accept that pars don't always have to be at the "hard" end of the par spectrum. There is nothing wrong with an "easy" par 4 or 5 or 3 for that matter. Some holes are easier to birdie or eagle than other or really damn tough. I'm not much of a believer in "tweener" holes. A tweener par 4 for 1 person is a b!tch of a par 4 for another. IT'S GOLF. But, I also have no problem with the little tree on Walnut 18 that stops all those "perfect" shots from going in or parking the hole so wtf do I know.
I'm sorry that the middle of my sentence interrupted the beginning of yours.

Nothing to do with par, everything to do with (f)airway.

Dudens idea is pretty good IMO. Would allow 16 to be a better par 4 too :)

Which inherently means you aren't a believer in good and bad holes, just holes. By that same logic you ought to double your prospective dating pool.
