1 plays to 2's basket now. Mando left of first tree off to the right of 1's tee to avoid the public using the playground equipment. I give the hole an average of 3.94, it should be 3'd but somehow you end up with a 4.
Adding up scores after league... Greco-"Kerri, you shot 11 up" Kerri- "oh a 65 isn't bad" Greco-"that was the back nine"

Lame!

Solid par 4 with demanding straight tee shot with ob right(drive, court and playground) and shule on the left. 615ish feet with ob rode behind the basket. I would say it would average more like 4.25 for open and higher for adv division.

Playing it that way, the score seperation is huge, get a little head wind, it turns in to the hardest open hole around.

I don't understand or agree with this at all. My understanding was 1 was pulled b/c of the potential hazard of turning something over right and getting in the playground. Now we are just making this more dangerous b/c we are going to be throwing harder and probably more to the right to get more distance. Seems like we have successfully made the hole even more dangerous for anyone playing on the playground. Lets hope the day never comes that we bean a little kid.

The pad could be moved up a little to eliminate the playground issue.

I 2nd Nohr. If thats the real reason hole one is no longer, then making a safari from 1 to 2 is WAY more dangerous.

It sucks to have to share a park with a playground (which are located in EVERY park), a sand volleyball court no sane man/woman would dare play barefoot, and a bball half court that I've never seen used (bad shots from hole 2 excluded). IMO, we need to abandon that part of the field and use the rest of the park where bystanders aren't an issue.

the basketball court gets used, but not that often. there were 3 different groups of people using it throughout the time i was at the store today, and another when i was playing the hole later on in the evening
