Virtual Players Meeting

Saturday is almost here. Thanks to all who pre-registered. The course is in the best shape of its life. Your player pack awaits you at checkin in the morning at tournament central. (7:30-8:35am) To find tournament central...just go to hole 1 and look east. Please take a moment and view our Virtual Players Meeting by clicking on the link above before you come. This will streamline our players meeting in the morning.

In the Virtual Players Meeting you can find things like:

* measured distances to baskets for each course (Gold, Blue and Red)
* pin placements
* schedule
* tee assignments for both rounds for each division
* list of Out-of-Bounds for each hole
*video fly throughs of each hole *NEW*
* and where to park video

Because Treasure Cove has had many recent changes, all players need to be at the players meeting promptly at 8:40am to get the most updated information.

If you have not registered yet, I will be at the course on Friday afternoon getting things set up. (402.639.6833)

Many people and many hours have gone into preparing for this day. Thanks to all of you. Special kudos to the IWCC grounds staff, who transformed the thickest, ugliest, weediest patch of ground on hole 2 into a beautiful fairway.

May each of you face the Cove's challenges with dignity, intergrity and fun.

Mike and Kim, Tournament Directors.

Ps. In all the recent construction, there has been a patch of new sod planted very near to tournament central. We have been asked to avoid walking on this new grass(sod) as much as possible. :)

I am having a few glitches in posting the scores so I thought I would at least post the hightlights. All in all there were some pretty even battles starting with the open division as Tanner Duncan came out on top after 3 playoff holes over Aaron Brooker. Marshal McGill and Aaron Martin close behind. In advanced, Rob Utterback won by 2 over Nick Redinbaugh and and Chris Shuman. Advanced Master was taken by Steve Hoffman by one over Breian Peterson and Mark Pendegraft. Advanced Grandmaster winner was Brad Ramsey folllowed by Neils Johnson and Elliot Hicks. Intermediate was won by Brandon Oatman over Ken Witherwax and Jessie Adams. Brandon also won the Ace throw-off by acing his throw and winning $280! In the womens division Terri Haught won followed by Liz Murphy. In the Rec division, Chris Schumann topped Bryan Steves and Rick Rivera.

Thanks for all the hard work Mike, and thanks for inviting us out to play. The course looked great and played extremely tough.
