I hate when that happens, I wish TD's would realize this and have some sort of pre-registration

Heh I wish I had $40 a week ago so I could pre-reg. Or my work schedule so I would know that I can go. Or my girlfriend's plans had solidified before this morning. Oh but I'm sorry, we're on a forum. Real life does not apply here :)

Most likely out. Unless......I can stay at someones place and bang someones sister. Cause it doen't count then and a different zip code.

Fausch, I still want two stones from you sometime.

Forecast says 20% chance of showers before noon...high in the mid 50's with a west wind of 13-22mph...gusts as high as 30mph

Hopefully the wind will be the putting equalizer since the snow has kept me from practicing.

If you are gonna let a little bit of snow on the ground keep you from practicing your putting, a 30MPH wind is probably gonna equalize you in a bad way. Gonna be fun no matter what.

Holiday Showdown

Postby DLCdisc » Fri Nov 11, 2011 9:33 pm

Countdown folks. I can't wait. Here are some updates you may be waiting for:

First of all Carts:
-All players will ride carts as no one has said they didn't want one.
-At registration each player will pay the $10 cart fee.
-Once the total number of players is determined, the $250 sponsorship
by the club will be divided up evenly among the players. That money
difference can be picked up at the end of the lunch break.

The raffle:
-Everyone will receive one raffle ticket with their entry into the event.
-The one entry ticket will be for one or more of the MANY prizes that
will be drawn for.
-There will be extra raffle tickets for sale ($1 each or 6 for $5) as
well. These are for the grand prize packages. There will be a
Skill-Shot basket, a Millenium disc package, and HUGE Discraft prize
package you wont want to miss.
-The drawings will start with the single entry tickets until everyone that
chooses to come to the awards has won a prize. Then we will draw
from the purchased tickets for the three grand prize packages.
Finally, all of the tickets (entry and purchased) will be combined in the
jar and we will draw until all of the remaining prizes have been given
away.

I hope that wasn't too complicated for anyone. Bottom line -- you don't really have to understand it to come out, have a good time, and go home with some really cool prizes.

See you there!!

Anyone planning on dropping off a basket today should know I was told to leave mine outside. I hope it will not be left out all night. Did they go back on the locked room they promised?

Hopefully? I sampled everything last night/day and I still wouldn't. That's just wrong. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

This is a privately owned course that is basically run by one guy this time of year with a couple of helpers at busy times. The maint. guys don't have any access to the shop unless there is someone in the shop. Sorry, I didn't know how much they were in and out until yesterday when Shane dropped his baskets off. As soon as the guy returned to the shop they put them inside though.

Just got back from Damons house putting the player packs together and it is even better than last years. You don't want to miss this one.

Finally got all of the details for tomorrow finished up. I will repeat this a lot tomorrow, but thanks to everyone who has helped out this year. I have had a lot of fun putting this together and I hope it goes off without a hitch. Hope I have enough energy left to play good. I am a little biased, but I really think this is gonna be a cool course that we can hopefully use again in the future. See you in a few hours.
